Gulf Coast '08 Trip Video
A team of 58 people went from Kansas City to Lakeshore, Mississippi, to continue the Katrina recovery efforts. This team was primarily made up of high school students. They accomplished a bunch of work and, of course, had a ton of fun, too! Beginning in 2008, Heartland will provide a Gulf Coast mission trip that is open for anyone from the church to apply. This is because the Gulf Coast is now considered to be one of Heartland’s Mission Exposure Trip locations…a great mission trip to go on, even if you’ve never done anything like this before! When you go, it will definitely be a significant part of your discipleship path. Check the calendar for specific info about the Gulf Coast summer mission trip for ‘09.
